"Back to the future" seems to be her motto, with a retro-futuristic vision: her paintings, her fascination with structures and volumes and her pop culture references are also strong keys.
Adelina Ivan is a high profiled contemporary concept, based on multifunctional design. The focus behind the collections are simple colours, raw and clear cuts, unusual details, digital print and above all - a good fit with the possibility for customers to vary each design.
After she graduated the Bucharest University of Art, with a degree in Design, she launched the brand Zasha in 2004, a pret-a-porter line for a young and creative audience. Five years after the official launch, the designer created a new label that bears her name, for the people with strong individuality and an artistic side of life, with sensibilities that might be culled from art, movies or leading-edge music.
Adelina Ivan collections was featured at Pret-a-Porter Paris Trade Fair and the Train New York starting from 2008 and they are found in shops from Paris, NY, Philadelphia, Athens, Milan, Kuwait and Beirut.
