Mobility, trajectory, nomadic lifestyles, survivor kits, versatility, new urban configurations, hyperreality,  transgressions ... represent some of the seminal zones which become intrinsic parts of  the conceptual projects conceived by Lucian Broscatean. 

Lucian has studied  Fashion Design at the University of Art and Design Cluj - Napoca, Romania. He graduated with Magna Cum Laude from the BA and MA courses. During his studies he was involved in numerous projects two of the most important being - an Erasmus scholarship in Great Britain and group exhibition spaces at the Dusseldorf International Fashion Fair.

Awards: 2010 - Freudenberg Award at the Romanian Fashion Week, Iasi; 2009 - Vipmoda Award for Young Designer, Bucharest; 2008 - Beau Monde "Crystal Globe Award" for Best Debut in Fashion Design 2008, Bucharest; 2008 - Arts of Fashion - "Wendy&Jim  and YKK Award" at the Metropolitan Museum of Modern Art, San Francisco; 2002 - "Young Designers Award" given by Doina Levintza, Bucharest.

Lucian has participated in various national and international fashion shows, workshops and fashion exhibitions among which: June 2010 - fashion show "Isolated dislocation" fall/winter 10/11 at the Romanian Fashion Week Iasi; May 2010 - group exhibition at the Fabrec International Workshop, Toulouse; December 2009 - video installation made for Wendy&Jim, at  the Pratersauna in Vienna; 2009 - three months internship at Wendy&Jim, Vienna; October 2009 - group exhibition "Who am I? Where do I come from? Where do I go?" ZMart Gallery, Paintbrush Factory Art Center Cluj; October 2009 - TOPOS concept space at  ANAID Art Gallery Bucharest; March 2009 - fashion show "Sky Mirror" fall/winter 09/10, at Soirees de la Mode event, Hilton Hotel, Bucharest; October 2008 - personal exhibition "NOMAD", curator Liviana Dan, at the Contemporary Art Gallery Brukenthal, Sibiu; October 2008 - fashion show at the event "Romania - un mondo da scoprire", Piazza del Popolo, Rome; May 2007 - fashion show "Nomadic symptoms" fall/winter 08/09 at the Romanian Fashion Week, Iasi; December 2008 - fashion show at the Romanian Ambassy in Paris; November 2007 - Arts of Fashion International Workshop - Fashion Pixel with Etienne Mineur/Incandescence and Susie Bubble/ Stylebubble.
